Round 1&2 Deadline Extended
Frankly I'm appalled that teams need 9 days to play 2 games when we played the entire playoffs last season in 7. Those teams throwing up roadblocks should be ashamed of themselves.
Any games not played by Sunday where the teams have not contacted me will be forfiet to the higher seed. If you need to contact me send your flaming torches and pitchforks to:
grifball@roosterteeth.com.
Also, Burnie has updated the brackets to show the current status of the playoffs. He also gave me the stuff I need to do the updates from now on so hopefully I can do them a little more regularly.

UK Play-offs
With the 5 weeks of league games out of the way, the UK league has reached its playoffs with the divisional leaders and wildcards ready to fight it out to become the UK champion.
The matches (all 4 of them!) can be seen on the schedule page here(it defaults to UK league anyway!) and the bracket as a whole can be seen on the playoffs page. Don't expect instant updates to the bracket as it is all manual.
As the playoffs are a lot smaller than the American league, people will have plenty of time to complete their games. The playoffs themselves will start at the start of the UKs grifball week, which is thursday, so that's when the first games can be played. You will need to contact the team you are playing in order to schedule the game and arrange the time. The quarter finals should be finished before the end of this weekend.
Well done to all the teams who made it through to the play-offs and good luck throughout!

Playoffs. T-9 Hours
Playoffs officially start tonight at Midnight PST. Round one of the playoffs have been programmed into the scheduler. Team captains will report their games just like any other game.
Unfortuntely the bracket tool R broken so the brackets will have to be updated manually and each round of play will have to be input manually. However the brackets are up here. You can also see them by clicking on the "Playoffs" button on the left of this page.
You will notice that the playoff page defaults to the UK League. Since the UK League playoffs have not been scheduled yet there is nottihng there to see. Just choose the conference you want at the top drop down menu to see the bracket that applies to you.
Use these brackets to schedule your games. You can find contact info for the teams you need to play by searching for their team page and clicking on the captain's name.
Round 1 and 2 must be played in the next 7 days. So one week from tomorrow every team should have played their first game and the teams that win thier first game must have gone on and played their second game.
Since all updates during the playoffs will be manual do not expect instant updates to the brakets or site. They will be done as often as possible.
Congratulations to all the teams who made it to the final 64. Let's work together to make this a fun and fair playoff season for everyone.

Regular Season Play Comes to a Close
Hey everyone. Well as I'm sure you all know the regular season play for the Spring League 08 ended yesterday. There are still a few stragglers in the queue (11 spread over both conferences) but for the most part we're done.

A 2 Day Explosion
Tonight on the Grifball Explosion
we will have Sarge! From the popular web series you might have heard of called Red vs Blue. He'll be joining us live and answering your Grifball related questions.

Because I will be at a super secret location tonight I won't have time for Commissioner Q&A. So you will just have to tune in to both shows. Should be a real blast.

Xbox Live has the dumps
As I'm sure everyone knows XBox Live is in a bad way. People are lagging out. Games are getting dropped. It's a real mess.
Therefore; I'm going to ask all teams that are scheduled to play tonight to be expecially considerate of the other teams. If someone cannot field 4 or cannot get on at all or doesn't contact you then don't be a dick. Reschedule the game if you have to. This is no ones fault and no one should have to suffer for it.
