The Summer Grifball season is about to start
Amateur League Info:
LEAGUE PLAY STARTS MONDAY, JULY 6TH, 2009!!! BE READY TO PLAY!
Division 1: Mondays at 7pm CST
Division 2: Mondays at 10pm CST
Division 3: Tuesdays at 7pm CST
Division 4: Tuesdays at 10pm CST
Division 5: Wednesdays at 7pm CST
Division 6: Wednesdays at 10pm CST
Division 7: Thursdays at 10pm CST
Division 8: Fridays at 6pm CST
Division 9: Fridays at 10pm CST
Division 10: Saturdays at 2pm CST
Division 11: Saturdays at 9pm CST
Division 12: Saturdays at 9pm CST
Division 13: Saturdays at 9pm CST
Division 14: Sundays at 2pm CST
Division 15: Sundays at 9pm CST
Please check the Division Page on Grifball.com to see what division your team is in. Then check the Schedule Page to see who you play.
Here are some quick notes about League play:
-It is highly recommended that you add the other captains in your division to your Xbox Live Friends List.
-It is the captains responsibility to have their team on and ready to play at their assigned time.
-You must play 2 games per scheduled night (Example: if in division 1, you will play 2 matches, the first being at 7pm CST on Monday, the second directly after). Pro teams have 2 days to play their games.
-If there is a day where you absolutely feel your team can't make it, contact you scheduled opponents and request to play that match during the make-up week. You must make that request at least 24 hours before the time of the match.
-If you are scheduled to play any of the generic teams (Generic Team 1-9), please ignore that match and consider it a bye until we find someone to fill in the spot.
-Regular season ends Sunday, August 16th at 11:59pm CST. After that there will be playoffs. As of now the top 2 teams per division as well as 2 wild cards will make the playoffs.

Notes not in the Amateur section:
There are no conferences this time around, due to division times and interdivisional play accounting for 40% of your games (with no way to make 2 of those 4 within-conference).
The Playoff format is not yet set. We'll get that put together as soon as possible, but we're getting the more pressing stuff done first.
Divisions are as follows:
Division 1: Mon/Tues
Division 2: Tues/Wed
Division 3: Wed/Thurs
Division 4: Fri/Sat
Division 5: Sat/Sun
Division 6: Sun/Mon
Div 1's interdivisional games will be against Div 6, Div 2 against Div 3, and Div 4 against Div 5.
NOTE: Because the schedule is not up yet, it's recommended that you contact your opponents' captains immediately in addition to adding them on XBL. This should ensure that you can get your games scheduled. Week 1 will be entirely within-divisional play, so you should only have 3 teams to contact.
